Remote Shoppe is dedicated to Remote Controls

If you've been a tech geek for a while you may have heard of X10, the company, as opposed to X10, the home automation technology. X10 the technology is a PLC (power-line-control) system for lighting control and home automation. While X10, the company, brought inexpensive lighting modules to the masses with aggressive sales techniques and heavy-duty e-mail marketing. Well, now X10, the company, is getting ready to release an interesting new remote control called the iconRemote. The pictures and features of the iconRemote are pretty impressive:
- Great price - just $129.99
- Vibrant LCD screen. Although I must admit that I did notice that the word "color" appears no where on the web page or in the PDF manual. I hope this is just an oversight and that the pictures are truly representative of the remote.
- Favorite channel control with icons on screen (hence the name iconRemote)
- No computer set-up required
- IR control of up 10 devices, Macros, Learning and other standard features
