While we were at the CEDIA Trade Show last week we caught a demo of an interesting new remote way back in the "B' Hall of the Georgia World Congress Center. The Amulet Devices Voice Enable Remote was unlike any voice-controlled remote I have ever seen. The remote control design looks just as nice as the hot new Harmony remotes and the voice-activated responses on the prototype model they had at the show was reliable and speedy. The design will feature a microphone that is not activated until you hold the remote upright. This allows you to speak into the Amulet the same way you would a "Guitar Hero" mic and it helps prevent false commands from background noise and saves battery life. Amulet Devices is hoping to have the Voice-Enabled Remote ready to ship with the release of Windows 7 later this year.Amulet Devices Voice Enable Remote
