Gary Altunian, the About.com Guide to Stereos just published a quick review of the Next Generation Remote Control Extender and was impressed by both the simplicity and low cost of this solution. Setting up the Next Gen Extender is as simple as changing the batteries in your remote since the RF transmitter is actually one of the batteries that comes in the kit. Obviously this solution is limited to remotes that use AA or AAA batteries but if you have a remote that does you too will be happy with the freedom the RF extender gives you.
