User Reviews Logitech Harmony 650 Remote Control
May 18, 2010
We found this Blog article from Phung Heaslet reviewing the new Logitech Harmony 650 Universal Remote Control with Color Screen. In conclusion, the Logitech Harmony 650 delivers everything you could expect from a Logitech Harmony all in one remote and more. The color screen makes in very easy to use. Everything on the screen is layed out in a very user friendly manner. The 650 replaces up to five different device remotes. This will surely lessen clutter and get you more organized. Also, the buttons are layed out in a very effective way. All the buttons that are related to each other are all near each other. These are just some of the great things about the 650.

A Remote for Everyone: Logitech Harmony 300 Remote Unveiled
March 31, 2010
New Harmony Replaces Four Remotes, Features Improved Web-based Setup
Logitech today announced that it is bringing the benefits of the award-winning line of Harmony remotes to people who have simpler home-entertainment needs. The new Logitech Harmony 300 Remote is simple to set up, replaces up to four other remotes and gives you better control of what’s attached to your TV with the touch of one button.
“Most universal remotes have a bad reputation for being hard to program and, as a result, you still use more than one remote to control the devices you own,” said Ashish Arora, vice president and general manager of Logitech’s digital home group. “With the Harmony 300, we wanted to deliver the Harmony remote promise of one remote to control your entertainment system to everyone. No more excuses — it’s time to get rid of the stack of remotes on your coffee table and simplify your home entertainment experience.”

Logitech Tapped to Build Custom Remote for Google TV
March 18, 2010
According to this NY Times article, Logitech has been tapped to build a custom remote for the Google TV. Apparently Google, Intel & SONY have joined forces to put the Google Android operating system in the living room with new televisions and set-top boxes that may be controlled by a custom built Logitech Harmony remote with integrated keyboard. I could certainly understand why Logitech would be good choice for the remote since the Harmony remotes are very popular. I'm not sure why SONY wouldn't look to just build the remote themselves, or even why they would get involved with Google TV since they have already made such a large investment in the Playstation 3 as a media hub.
Engadget Reviews Logitech Harmony 650
March 17, 2010
The folks at Engadget have been fans of the Logitech Harmony Remote Controls and it looks like the newest model, the Harmony 650, does just enough to keep the blogger's admiration. And with good reason. The Logitech Harmony 650 is just a lower cost model in the product line backed by the same great software and programming. There's not much to dislike about the 650. It offers most of the features of the higher-end Harmony models but at a more approachable price. The only thing we really don't like is the curious five device cap. Other than giving the 700 a reason to exist we're not sure why the limit was made one lower here, but for many users five will be plenty, and if that's you then you could do a lot worse than picking up a 650 -- or a 600. We'd save $20 and go with the monochrome model, but if you have the means there's nothing wrong with spending a little more to add some extra color to your life.

Logitech Harmony 900 Universal Remote Review from The Gadgeteer
January 27, 2010
The Gadgeteer has just introduced the Logitech Harmony 900 to their newly remodeled basement and seems quite pleased with the results:The remote definitely works as advertised. It works perfectly with my TV, receiver, cable box, and AppleTV. At $400, it is expensive. If you do not need the RF capability, I would suggest Logitech’s Harmony One as a comparable universal remote that can be found on the Net for under $200. But if you have a solid faced cabinet and do not like to have the cabinet doors open when using your system, the Harmony 900 is a great answer to eliminate remote clutter and bring greater Tech-Zen into your World.

Driver Heaven Reviews Logitech Harmony 1100 Remote
July 08, 2009
The British Gaming Blog, DriverHeaven.net, posted their review of the Logitech Harmony 1100 Universal Remote Control. The conclusion they reached reiterates the point that you must first decide if you want a tablet style, two-handed touch screen remote. If the answer is Yes than the Harmony 1100 is still the most affordable option on the market. However, if you're not sold on the design than there are equally capable handheld controllers in the traditional candy-bar shape that will cost less.Click here to read the full review on DriverHeaven.net
